Taliban decides never to wish Eid by twitter ever again

AFGHANISTAN: After a tweet by the Taliban commander Zabiullah Mujahid wishing everyone Eid mubarak, Taliban have decided never to use again the micro social media website for Eid messages.

On friday, a tweet by Zabiullah Mujahid gave away his location 'Sindh, Pakistan' however he says that he was tweeting from neighboring Afghanistan.

The Taliban commander later kept on saying that the tweet leak was an 'enemy ploy' and also gave away his number to confirm his destination was from Afghanistan.

Twitter terms however state that the geolocation data is picked by the browser or the phone, which ever is in use at the time of tweeting. It also warns 'be careful while tweeting coordinates that you do not want the world to see'.

Taliban commander on the other hand has decided not to wish Eid to any one by twitter.

He has said, 'My satellite phone charges me a lot otherwise I would have used it instead of the lame service'.

Twitter spokesman on the other hand has said, 'well Taliban commander should have opted out of the service before tweeting'.

Justice Ramday files criminal case against Nawaz

KARACHI: Retired Justics Khalil ur Rehman Ramday has filed a case against Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif for using him as an element in the rigging of Elections in 2013 and not paying the amount agreed upon, Sacha TV reported.

According to the details, Justice Ramday has provided 15 days to Nawaz Sharif for an apology and paying the lump sum.

Through his counsel, Ramday lodged a criminal case under section 406 of Pakistan Penal Code in Lahore Hight Court accusing Nawaz of depriving him of 0.50 per cent of the amount against the agreement.

He said that Nawaz Sharif had agreed to pay 200 crore if PMLN won in 2013 elections but Nawaz has only paid 199 crore so far.

The justice said that, ‘this kind of behavior is unbearable and that too with a justice’.

He said that, ‘I only agreed to helping Nawaz because I was getting 200 crore but only received 199 crore’.

Ramday promised to shout the slogan 'Go Nawaz go' if amount is not paid.

He warned Nawaz Sharif that he will take the issue to international court if one crore rupees are not paid to him within 15 days.

Moreover, he added that he will be forced to shout ‘Go Nawaz go’ if he is not provided the amount within the given time period.

It should be noted that before the start of Dharna in Islamabad Imran Khan had revealed the names of all those associated in rigging of elections last year, in a conference. 

Top Pakistani media channels admit ‘we lie to the public all the time’

ISLAMABAD: Top media channels including ARY News, Express News and Geo News have admitted that they are using all type of commercial tools to attract public attention.

In an interview with Arnab Goswami - the yellow kid, Express News president Aamir Liaquat said that they lie to the public all the time.

The Express News president said, ‘See, I need to earn at least one crore on a daily basis. If I don’t my wife would kill me’. He gave that as a reason to lie to the public.

On the other hand, Mubashir Luqman from ARY said that his channel always airs what the public wants to hear. He gave the example of ShakesPear who wrote what people liked.

The anchorperson said that if we don’t tell the public what they want to hear what fun would that be? He looked towards Mir Shakil ur Rehman and said, ‘Q baba ji’?

Geo News founder Mir Shakil ur Rehman covered his face and laughed in a hysterical manner at the comments of Mubashir Luqman. He started shouting Pakistan Zinda bad and told Aamir Liaquat that he would give him 1.5 crore if he leaves his old job and comes back to Geo.

He refrained from commenting whether Geo tells lies or the truth. But he did say our programs are for the elite if public doesn’t want to watch them, than they should not.

He reminded Arnab that Nawaz Sharif the current prime minister of Pakistan also said something about Geo two weeks back that he doesn’t remember because he was running for his life at that time. He said, ‘that settles it, If Prime minister watches Geo than geo must be telling the truth’.

‘Pakistanis don't need internet’: Report

Karachi: A new study by Bolo Pakistan has highlighted that Pakistan does not need internet connections as the people in Pakistan already socialize a lot.

According to details acquired by our reporter, the study reveals that currently 11 percent of Pakistanis are connected to internet at a speed of 3 mbps.

However, it hinted that the ratio would decline in the coming years because of the socialization of people.

The report said that Pakistan is a country where people do not have time to tweet everything or update statuses whenever necessary.

“They already socialize a lot”, it said.

After the report many telecom companies have started rolling their carpets and are saying they will target Afghanistan.

One of the official of the telecom companies told Chilkaa, “We were in Pakistan to acquire some good revenue for ourselves. But if Pakistanis are not going to use our services how will we earn profit?”

They said, “Afghanis are earning in dollars from their fellow Americans, it’s the right time to establish ourselves in Afghanistan and rob them by the legal means”.

UNICEF wants Pakistan to break its polio record ASAP

KARACHI: With three more cases deep-rooted on Wednesday, Pakistan is getting closer, day by day, to breaking its own 14 year old record of Polio.

199 cases, was the highest record of cases ever recorded in Pakistan.

Health experts have cited that the number of cases will surely increase in the remaining months. They assume that the surge will cross 200 in the next two months. Keeping their fingers crossed they said, ‘we hope we break our record as it will bring us in the lime light across the globe’.

UNICEF on the other hand has said that it is eager to learn if Pakistan breaks the record. 

An official of UNICEF said, ‘this will help us impose more sanctions on the terrorist ridden country’.

Though, experts have said the problem is with the agencies. Health workers are afraid of going inside those agencies, they said.

One health worker said, ‘I am afraid that the kidnappers might kidnap me if they see me vaccinating a baby’.
